Hey Fam,

If you’re on Twitter, there is another leaker, by the name of kh3islife1, be forewarned, they have obtained an illegal copy of the game and do in fact have spoilers posted. And they do not use any filters or tags.

I caught a glimpse of the full opening when I went to block them, so please bare that in mind.

Another reminder, if you are among those who dont mind spoilers and actually would like to see them, be mindful of those who do not.

They are also prone to changing their url. Khislife1 changed to kh3islife

Thank you to Sofia on my Discord server for alerting us.

Stay safe, stay kind.

gaslightgallows:

I’m not going to dispute the premise or the figures, but the parallel is not an exact one.

Costs of living were very different in the 1840s, and the relative value of money was higher. However. Victorian clerks were regularly required to work 10-12 hour days - no ovetime pay - and the only day they were allowed off was Sunday. So Cratchit was being paid 15 shillings a week for 60 hours of work.

Taking the figure of $27,574 above, that works out to about $13.25 an hour, if Bob Cratchit worked 40 hours a week.

But at the more likely 60 hours a week, he earned $8.84 an hour.

So why am I bringing this up, if I’m not quibbling with the premise?

Because $8.84/hour IS STILL MORE THAN THE U.S. FEDERAL MINIMUM WAGE.

Because we’ve had over a hundred years of labor agitating for a 40-hour work week and a legal minimum wage. People have fought and bled and been imprisoned and been killed to gain us these.

And we must never forget that.

so we have a conversational safeword in my group of friends and it’s great, idk why more people don’t do this. whenever someone wants a subject to be dropped immediately no questions asked we just say “spleen” and we stop immediately and it’s a really good way to avoid crossing the line between teasing friends and genuinely upsetting them by accident, or stopping debates from turning into actual arguments

Wait but no this is actually a brilliant idea.

When I was a little baby high school student, I used to do the Living Chessboard at our local Renaissance Faire. We always used “forsooth” to indicate if someone was actually injured and needed to quickly end a choreographed fight. It was also very useful when doing little street improvisations because if someone tried to stop you, you could say “forsooth good sir, I must leave.” and they knew you couldn’t do a scene right then. We all used it in real life too, to say “no really” and it was amazing because there was a word used in a casual setting that meant “I’m not playing, I need you do listen to me.” So if someone tried to pick me up or tickle me, I could say “forsooth stop.” And I was instantly obeyed. I had “forsooth” long before I learned what a safeword was, and having a non-sexual safeword for everyday use amongst a circle of friends was the best thing ever. It made me feel very safe and listened to, even as a tiny 14 year old. Because let’s be honest, 14 year old me was teeny tiny and adorable and it’s easy to coo at kids when they say “no don’t pick me up!” but to have a word that every single person respected to mean “whatever I say after this MUST be listened to” was amazing. It gave me a definitive voice when it would have been easy to dismiss me.

So basically having platonic safewords is awesome and I’m all for it.

How To Appeal A Post When You Don’t Have The Appeal Button

spidypool:

Since the 17th about 12 of my posts where flagged as adult content and when I went to try and appeal it there was no appeal button. I went through their help and read the whole article. I even contacted support who then copied and pasted their help page not even trying to assist me.  All I know is that there was supposed to be a button for the original creator to click and allow up to appeal but there wasn’t.

On my computer:

image

On the app:

image

See no button for appeal.

It has taken me days to figure out this work around and I thought some other people out there might be having this issue.

Now here is how you appeal your post when you don’t have the appeal button

Now go through your blog and find all your pages with censored posts clicking on them to take you to the original post.

image

Take a look at the url.

image

See that number there? Copy it!

Open up a new page and type in this:

https://www.tumblr.com/dashboard/blog/your url/

At the end paste that number.

image

When you hit enter you will get this:

image

The appeal button is finally there! Click it!

image

You’ll get this message and then you’ll click appeal again.

image

Your post is now being appealed.

You can check that it was fixed just by refreshing your blogs page.

image

And that’s it! I know it is stupid and ridiculous to do such a ridiculous back method but unfortunately it’s the only solution I’ve come up with.

Also no you can’t just use the weird sidebar dashboard to find it as any flagged posts don’t actually show up at all in it.

Anyways I hope this helps you guys.
